Megyn Kelly was a ratings queen at Fox News Channel. Although she had a multi-million-dollar contract, she wanted more. When her contract finsihed at Fox, Kelly made the switch to NBC.
The folks at NBC were counting on Kelly bringing her audience with her. They hoped their ratings would go up, way up.
Unfortunately, for Kelly and NBC, she hasn’t been able to deliver the goods.
Last Sunday night’s show garnered the lowest ratings for Kelly’s show yet. She managed to pull in only 3.1 million viewers. Hardly a ratings victory!
A rerun of ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos‘ topped Kelly’s ratings.
It’s only a matter of time before NBC pays out Kelly’s contract and sends her packing.
In the meantime, Fox is unlikely to take her back. She’ll be left flogging her not so popular book about how she became the success she is today.
Ah, the irony!
Young Conservatives reports:
There was a time for Megyn Kelly was one of the biggest names in news on the most dominant channel in news.
Both of those things have changed pretty dramatically over the past year or so.
NBC shelled out a ton of money to bring Megyn over to their network with the hopes that she could be a primetime star.
