Imagine if CNN offered a position to Trump’s former Press Secretary! What a coup that would be.
Was Sean Spicer’s departure less than amicable? Would it be fair to say that Spicer could be a little disgruntled?
It has been reported that President Trump’s decision to hire Anthony Scaramucci as Communications Director prompted Spicer to tender his resignation.
What stories he could tell! CNN would be crazy not to contact Mr. Spicer and offer him 6, no 7 figures to dish the dirt on the Trump Adminstration.
Maybe he could blow the doors off this Russian collusion, obstruction of justice stuff.
In the past, the cable news giant hired former Trump staffers. Trump Aide Jason Miller and former Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski were hired as contributors.
But, alas, CNN will not be offering Spicer a position as a contributor, or anything else for that matter.
“CNN spokesperson says that the network will not seek to hire Sean Spicer as a contributor, unlike other past Trump officials,” BuzzFeed reporter Steven Perlberg posted to Twitter.
Conservative Tribune reports:
Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer has had an eventful week that ended with a surprise.
Shortly after the news of Spicer resigning from his position hit the media on Friday, CNN revealed a stunning career announcement about the former face of the Trump media operation.
The network announced that it would not consider hiring Spicer to be a contributor.
