White House Communications Directory Anthony Scaramucci made a visit to CNN’s ‘State of the Union’ Sunday morning. It didn’t take long for Russia to come up in the conversation.
Scaramucci told Jake Tapper that Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian attorney wasn’t news. In fact, he pointed out that the meeting had no effect on Trump’s campaign or the election at all.

Scaramucci then compared President Trump to a high school football coach.
“The President likes speaking from the heart, he likes telling you what he likes and dislikes,” he said. “He’s the type of coach I worked very well with in high school football. It’s okay with me if the President doesn’t like certain things that I’m doing, we’re all on the same team.”
And he promised to end the White House leaks.
“By the way, tomorrow I’m going to be having a meeting with the communications staff and say, ‘Hey I don’t like these leaks, so we’re going to stop the leaks and if we don’t stop the leaks, I’m going to stop you.’”
“It’s just really that simple,” Scaramucci said.
The next few months should prove to be very interesting!
Biz Pac Review reports:
In his first go-round on the Sunday talk shows as the White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci let it be known that he’s no push over.
…though it didn’t take very long at all for Russia to come up.
Handling host Jake Tapper with ease during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Scaramucci denounced Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian attorney as a “non-event.”
