Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich gave his take on the Russian election tampering saga. He says the Clinton team is who we should be focusing on investigating.
Gingrich criticized both the media and Democrats for placing some much focus on the Trump team in regards to the Russian election tampering investigation. He says it’s a mistake to ignore “Hillary Clinton’s own dealings with Russia.”
He says he’s not quite sure why Devin Nunes went to the White House, noting that he could’ve found a better way to handle it. The Georgia Republican makes it very clear that Democratic ranking member Adam Schiff is totally partisan, stating:
“This idea that somehow Nunes is different is baloney.”
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says it’s all being pegged as “anti-Republican” by Democrats and the media.
He reminds us that the Clintons had much greater dealings with Russia than the Trump camp ever has in the past. But, according to him, no one’s going to backtrack and take a good look at these dealings.
“Nobody is going back and suggesting we go back and look at what happened with the Clintons who had vastly greater dealings with Russia than anything that has been suggested about the Trump team.”
