Friday, Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez appeared on an episode of “The View” as a co-host. He remained for the entire program as the day’s replacement for Whoopi Goldberg.
The show usually opens up with political topics. But, “The View” host Joy Behar took more than 10 minutes to bring up a subject involving President Donald Trump.
At some point, the panel ended up in a discussion about President Trump’s decision not to throw the first pitch at a Washington Nationals baseball game.
Rodriguez, better known as A-Rod to baseball fans, voiced his opinion on the matter. He seemed to be disappointed.
“I did want to see, from a scouting report, who had a better throwing arm: Trump or Obama.”
Rodriguez noted that George W. Bush throwing the opening pitch at Yankee game shortly after 9/11 was a truly inspiring moment for him personally.
Joy Behar attributed President Trump’s decision to him being thin-skinned.
